EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
JANUARY 19, 2011
PRESENT: Dave Moore, Larry Lapp, Bob Kistner, Mike Kistner, Wayne Wilson, Helmuth Albrecht, Chad Mogan, Mike Lauer ABSENT: Len Frank, Scott Seston, Scott Sinz, Heather Kistner and Bridget Schroeder
A motion was made by Dave Moore and seconded by Mike Kistner to approve yearly donations:
Red Cedar Pheasants Forever - $300 plus clubhouse
Red Cedar Women’s Pheasants Forever - $250 plus clubhouse
Dunn Goblin Longspurs WTA - $250 plus clubhouse
Indianhead Friends of the NRA - $125
Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation - $350
A suggestion was made by Wayne Wilson to see if members wish to continue receiving Wisconsin Wildlife Newsletters. Larry Lapp will ask at the next regular meeting.
A motion was made by Wayne Wilson and seconded by Mike Lauer to approve yearly memberships:

U.S. Sportsmen Alliance - $250
Wisconsin Force - $30
Menomonie Chamber of Commerce - $14
A motion was made by Pookie Albrecht and seconded by Wayne Wilson to approve yearly events:
Tainter Lake Sportsmen’s Fishing Contest - $250
Women on Target - $500
Artist Tour - $100
Downsville Sportsmen’s Club Fishing Contest - $250
Whispering Emerald Ridge Youth Day - $250
Red Cedar Women’s Pheasants Forever Youth Day - $250
Red Cedar Men’s Pheasants Forever Senior & Disabled Hunt - $250
Muzzleloader shoot (Food and Beverage) – Est. $200
Youth Ice Fishing Contest - $500
Bull Frog Youth Fishing Event - $1,300

A motion was made by Wayne Wilson and seconded by Pookie Albrecht to install a dedicated phone line for the ATM machine for one year. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Wayne Wilson and seconded by Pookie Albrecht to increase life memberships to $300 for members that over 55 and $350 for members that are under 55 to begin January, 2012. Motion carried. (THIS MOTION WAS TABLED BY GENERAL MEMBERSHIP FOR RE-EVALUATION)
Board made a recommendation to have a family membership of $30 to include husband, wife and all children under the age of 18. Board also recommended to discontinue the membership cards.
Dave Moore made a motion and Wayne Wilson seconded to adjourn meeting. Motion carried.

CALL TO ORDER
President Larry Lapp called the meeting to order.
SECRETARY’S REPORT-BRIDGET SCHROEDER
A reading of the minutes was waived due to them being published in the newsletter, email and posted on the website Mike Benzel moved and Al Finder seconded a motion to accept the minutes as printed in the newsletter. Motion carried.

A reading of the treasurers was given. Al Finder moved and Curt Hagberg seconded a motion to accept the treasurer's report. Motion carried.

Bear survey will be completed again. DNR will be taking an active role this year. The entire north end of the State will take part in this survey.

The first meeting will be February 21st at 7:00 p.m. Hope to have 2 new co-chairs at this meeting. Pookie presented the budget for the banquet. Rich Leventhal made a motion and Tom Koranski seconded to approve budget.

March 1st next Hunter Safety Class. Had 8 new volunteers sign up to work at the Rifle Range. Upcoming events at the range: May 21st Boys Scouts, May 22nd Open Shoot, June 7th Women on Target, July 30th Muzzleloader Shoot. April 30th Clean Up Day. Gun Show is March 11-13, 2011

Sustainable Dunn is looking to see if the club would be interested in putting up a booth at their Convention on Sunday, January 26, 2011.

June 7,, 2011 Women On Target will take place at the Rifle Range. Posters are being made and will be available for the Ice Fishing Contest. It will run from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and registration is from 1:00-5:00 p.m. More information to follow.
Snow plowing the Cut-Off, the DNR is willing to snow plow, but we need it opened up first. Need someone to open it up, Bob Stratton made a motion and Al Finder seconded to contract with someone for no less than $100 to get this opened. Motion Carried.
