EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING

PRESENT: Helmuth Albrecht, Bob Kistner, Heather Kistner, Mike Kistner, Dave Moore, Scott Seston, Wayne Wilson, Len Frank



  1. If there are issues that you feel strongly about, please come to Executive Committee Meetings or the President and address these issues, rather than letting the issues fester and become bigger issues.


  1. We will begin interviewing for the Janitor position on October 3rd. We would like to hire 2 people so that one person doesn’t become overwhelmed or the club doesn’t find itself in the same situation.


  1. A motion was made and seconded to allow Steve Young, the club’s accountant to set up a system to receive monthly accounting reports. The cost would be $70 per month for the both the bar and general accounts. Motion carried.

President Dave Moore called the meeting to order.


  1. SECRETARY’S REPORT-BRIDGET SCHROEDER

A reading of the minutes was waived due to them being published in the newsletter, email and posted on the website Mike Benzel moved and Wayne Wilson seconded a motion to accept the minutes as printed in the newsletter. Motion carried.


  1. TREASURER’S REPORT-HELMUTH ALBRECHT

­­­­$52,116.32 in general checking, $1,556.38 in bar account. Joel Radke moved and Dave Leach seconded a motion to accept the treasurer's report. Motion carried.

Please make clear with sales on licensing for hunting – Bear study. There will be a presention at the DNR on October 6 at 9:00 a.m. on shooting bullets over lead.

  1. FALL BANQUET – DAVE MOORE & BRIDGET SCHROEDER –

Total net income $26,290 and 202 people attended. Motion made by Scott Sinz to hold the 25th Anniversary Fall Banquet on September 8, 2012.


  1. RIFLE RANGE/HUNTER SAFETY- DUKE HOLMBERG

Next hunter safety class begins in February. The pistol berm and storage building will be built in memory of Larry Lapp

Pheasants will be released on October 8th at 8:00 a.m. There will be a clean up afterwards.

No youths were able to shoot a bear during the bear hunt this year. Youth bow and gun hunting season begin on October 8-9

205 meals served in August. Total monthly profit for bar & dinner $365. Profit YTD $2,100. 11 total free meals tickets so far.

K. BUILDINGS & GROUNDS- SCOTT SESTON

Thank you to all that have been making the transition and picking up the clubhouse in the absence of a janitor.


L. BAR MANAGEMENT-PAUL JACOBSON

A motion was made by Jim Cleven and seconded by Dave Leach to purchase 50 black and white short-sleeve T-Shirts at $6 each. Motion carried. A motion was made by Les Kuesel and seconded by Scott Seston to purchase 100 blaze orange and camo colored can coolers at .60 each. Motion carried.
