Deferred budget account for land acquisition: What should we really try to save for land purchases? Everything from 5-25% has been suggested. Gary passed secret ballot to see what the Board Members thought we should try to save.
Fall Fishing Contest: September 14, 2013, Two Divisions, Adult/Adult and an Adult/Youth. $50 for Adult/Adult Team, $25 Adult/Youth, and the Adult/Youth will have 10 pan fish. 100% payback. Make our Money, on Bar and Food. We will give a meal ticket to the Youth. Adults will pay. $5 a plate.
Dobbs Landing: Scott Sinz is here to discuss ways of acquiring this piece of property. If we deed the Lucas (Hellendrung) Land, to the Stewardship, we can use 50% of the land, which would give us $40,000. The other idea is to give $10,000 for the next three years. The land was appraised at $304,000.
Cost of Appraisal $2000. Martha Stratton made a motion that we pay the Appraisal, Jim Thompson seconded. Motion passed.

VP Bar Inventory: No Report
New Bar: The wood will cost $250. Gary Buss brought in a Sample of the Wood. Scott Seston made a motion to buy the wood. Martha Stratton Second. Motion passed.
Change Insurance Carriers: Bill Schutts checked with a new company. We would save over $500 with a different company. The new company is West Bend Insurance. Scott Seston made a motion and Kellen Cassellius second that we switch insurance companies. Motion passed.
Membership: UW Greek Clubs. Looking for ways to increase our membership by partnering with a Greek Club. Great idea, but need to know when Greek Week is so that we could put out information.
Building addition: Looking at increasing the size so that we could handle a larger crowd.

Request from the City, Dick Henning was here to ask for us to contribute to a new dock for the Lakeside Boat landing on Wolske Bay Road. This would be a handicapped Dock. The cost is $5100. The lions are gifting $1000. Discussion on overall finances. Gary Buss made a motion that we donate $1000, Les Kuesel Second. Motion Carried.

Secretary's Report: Martha Stratton
A reading of the minutes was waived due to them being published in the newsletter, email and posted on the website. Correction to the money made by the Top Gun Banquet to be $5300, as this would include the Gift Card of $500 donated from Scheel’s. Randy Dahms moved and Mike Benzel seconded a motion to accept the minutes as printed in the newsletter. Motion carried. Complaint that some people could not open the minutes. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org that you can’t open it, and a different format will be sent to you.
Treasurer's Report: Bill Schutts
Reminder of the new accounting reporting is available. These reports will be in the office for review. Don Heifner moved and Dave Moore seconded a motion to accept the treasurer's report. Motion carried.
Correspondence: Gary Schwoch
Thank you from the Stout Events Society for letting them help us during the 1st Top Gun Banquet. Thank you from the Boy Scouts for helping with the Adult Pinewood Derby. They made over $3000 and the money will be used to support the Chippewa Valley Boy Scout of America. Gary read a letter from Stepping Stones requesting Money. Gay Evenson sent a note thanking the club for the Sunshine basket. The Chamber sent a Thank You for being a member. They sent a ticket to attend business after hours. Announcement about the Wayne Wanbaugh Memorial Service. Visitation is June 8th at 10 a.m., and Service is at 11 a.m., at St Bridget’s Catholic Church in Wilson.
Executive Committee Report: Gary
President Gary Schwoch presented the Executive Committee Report (See Report). Reference to the idea about the trail, since it will be over $2000 is must be brought up at two meetings. No one was able to find that rule in the current by-laws. Dave Frank moved and Garrett Sinz seconded a motion to accept the Executive Committee's report. Motion carried.
DNR Report: Jim Cleven, Jess Karstens, Chad Mogen
Jim Cleven got a request for the information about our reward system. Got some information about $ for ranges. Will be checking with Range people. Dunn County Highway called and wanted to know the DNR was going to replace the slow/no wake sign that was moved/lost during the construction of the new bridge on Lake Tainter. Rod Finder made a motion to table until more information on cost of signs and what other organizations (Town of Tainter and TainterLake Association) are doing..

Reminder about the Disabled and Elderly Fishing Day, June 7; which is also called Sharing Our Resources Fishing. Sent a work request around, but is looking for more Pontoons.

Thank you to Wayne Wilson to getting the rebate for putting in the new lights.

Stewardship is broke and about 21 million behind. This most likely would affect any support in the purchase of Dobbs landing. Gary passed out information on Gun Deaths being on the decline.

Meeting Wednesday May 29 at 6 p.m at the Range. The event is scheduled for June 22. So far there are 56 women who have signed up. Only 7 spots left for a morning. There will be two military rifles for the Women to shoot. Passing out sign-up sheet for helpers.

Youth Fishing Evening on Thursday, June 13. There will two shifts 1st at 5:30 p.m., the second will start at 6:45 p.m. There will be a prize drawing at 6:30 p.m. Looking for someone to host a worker meal after the fishing event.

Insurance: Rod Finder made a motion to accept the new insurance policy. Mike Benzel seconded. Motion passed.
Membership: Working with more of the Stout students. Maybe friend a Greek Club to partner with.
Building Addition: Scott Sinz made a motion to look at building on to increase the size to a 500 person capacity. Garrett Sinz second Motion Passed.
T-Shirts: We have some that can be sold.
